Broadband Solutions Technology (BST) was founded in 2003 by its present owners. This team developed the StarGate series of Broadband Wireless Equipment which forms the core of its current product portfolio. The BST team came from various sectors of the South African electronics and defence industries and specialised in the design and development of RF and Microwave equipment and software. 

BST’s business is the provision of broadband wireless access solutions for Network Operators, Municipalities, Government Organisations and private organizations/users who wish to provide multimedia, voice and internet services at an affordable price. BST’s focus is to develop, supply and distribute innovative Broadband Solutions in all areas including where little or no communication infrastructure is present. This as rural areas and developing countries with emerging markets in Sub-Sahara Africa, including SADC, and South America.
The Company offers a range of locally assembled products including equipment from international partners.
